Job Description:
Tandem Mechanical Systems Ltd. is seeking a motivated and reliable Plumber Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Job Duties:
Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
Help cut, measure, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools
Support in locating and marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures
Assist in testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Clean and maintain tools and work areas
Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Assist plumbers in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing issues
Employment Requirements:
Completion of secondary school
Completion of a four- to five-year apprenticeship program
or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in plumbing is usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
