Revolt Homes Ltd located in Chilliwack , BC is looking for 1 CARPENTER to join its team as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who can work full time and is reliable.
Duties:
• Determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings.
• May supervise other construction workers.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• At least 2 years of experience in the trade
OR
3 to 4-year apprenticeship program in carpentry
Language: English
Location: All over lower mainland area and Vancouver area, according to contracts
Salary: $37.00/hour for 32 to 35 hours/week
