N W Industries Ltd. in Richmond is looking for Full-time positions for a Machinist to assist in running our growing firm, and could join immediately.
Location: 135&140, 12417 No. 2 Road, Richmond, BC, V7E 6H6
Positions Available: 1 Positions
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $39 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, sample parts, and work orders to determine machining requirements;
Measure, mark, and lay out metal parts and components to the required dimensions and tolerances;
Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring machines, drill presses, grinders, and saws to machine or repair parts;
Machine, rebuild, modify, or restore precision components used in hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and related industrial equipment, which aligns with the company’s business listing.
Fit and assemble machined parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools;
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications;
Maintain machining equipment and keep the work area clean and safe;
Identify wear, damage, or deviations in parts and report issues or make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.

Skills and Education:
Completion of Secondary School is required.
1 - 2 years of related experience is required.
