Job Description
JPR Industries Inc. is seeking a full-time Welder to fabricate, weld, and repair metal
components according to
specifications and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding specifications.
Operate welding equipment to fabricate and weld metal components.
Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal components.
Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
Fabricate parts and components using bending, cutting, or shaping techniques.
Work with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high-quality standards.
Maintain welding equipment and tools.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Employment Requirements:
Completion of secondary school education.
3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator
Experience in agriculture is an asset but not required.
CWB tickets or Journeyman certification preferred but not required.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Experience with aluminum and stainless steel.
Press brake experience is an asset.
Ability to use welding tools and equipment safely and effectively.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM (8–9 hours/day)
Overtime available.
Minimum 40 hours/week guaranteed.
Two fixed days off per week (weekends).
