Job Description:

Looking for a reliable and compassionate home support worker for our 3 children. One of our children has ADHD. It is therefore recommended that she receive support from a home health aide to ensure her well-being and that of her entire family.

Title:

Home Support Worker for Children

Duties:

• Provide companionship
• Provide personal care
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Help children with homework
• Supervise and care for children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

Required Education/Experience:

Have completed a secondary school diploma, at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education.

Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school

OR

Have 1 year of continuous paid experience as a home support worker for children/ children with a disability

Skills/ Qualifications:

•                     Be reliable and punctual

•                     Take initiative 

•                     Show good judgment 

•                     Have good intuition 

•                     Have excellent organizational skills 

Schedule and salary:

 Schedule may vary depending on client's needs

Salary: 19.27$/ hour for 40 hours of work

Language Requirement:

Knowledge of English (oral)
