Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: at least 3 to 4 years experience.
Job Duties
* Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
* Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units using glue, clamps, screws, or other fasteners
* Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers to cut, shape, and form parts and components
* Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
* Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, cabinets, and related products
* Inspect finished products for quality and ensure specifications are met
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to project requirements
* Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment
