Gujarat Foods and Spices Inc. has an immediate opening for the Warehouse Supervisor
position (NOC: 12013) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.
As a Warehouse Supervisor (NOC: 12013), you will perform some or all of the following
duties:
- Supervise, coordinate, assign, and review the daily work of team members.
- Planning and establishing innovative work schedules and warehouse procedures to
optimize space and ensure the seamless flow of goods in accordance with corporate
standards.
- Training team members in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, while
providing ongoing mentorship to ensure a high-performance culture.
- Requisitioning supplies and materials while overseeing the reclamation and handling of
damaged products to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize loss.
- Resolving work-related issues and preparing periodic progress reports for senior
management regarding warehouse metrics, safety incidents, and operational
performance standards.
- Act as the primary escalation point for customers on day-to-day operational
requirements and service-related matters.
- Ensuring that warehouse activities are aligned with control systems and health and
safety regulations to maintain service levels and facility integrity.
- Identifying and implementing operational initiatives to improve productivity and
collaborating with the leadership team to achieve daily safety and customer
performance objectives.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange
for maintenance and repair work.
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
- May conduct performance reviews of supervised workers
Qualifications:
- Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business,
supply chain, production or manufacturing management and related is usually required.
- 1-2 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $28.00/hour
