Cafe Landwer is looking for One (1) Operations Manager to perform the following duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate and approve policies for the restaurant chain, i.e. all locations
- Formulate policies to establish the direction to be taken by Café Landwer
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff
- Coordinate the operation of the different restaurant locations
- Represent Café Landwer or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Oversee creation of menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Authorize and oversee equipment purchases and repairs
- Recruit and hire staff
- Implement new cooking techniques and introduce new equipment
- Ensure quality control, consistency and food safety
Terms of Employment:
- Salary: $65.92 per hour; 40 hours per week
- Permanent, Full-Time
- Start date: immediately

Skills Requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: no education required; A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other related discipline is an asset
- Experience: minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation
