Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, Drafting/design engineering technologies/technicians, other, Mechanical drafting and mechanical drafting CAD/CADD
Work experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Job duties: Prepare engineering designs and drawings, Read blueprints to determine work requirements, Develop and prepare design sketches, Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications, Revise programs based on academic performance level, Examine plans, drawings and site layouts, Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Certificates and licences: AutoCAD Certification
Type of drafting: Shop drawings, Detailing drafting, Presentation drawings
Computer and technology knowledge: SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, SolidWorks software, MS Office, Spreadsheet
