We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to install and fit custom and pre-manufactured cabinetry, millwork, and architectural wood components in residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will interpret plans, perform precise measurements, modify materials on-site, and complete high-quality finish carpentry installations.
Main Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit wood materials and millwork components on-site
- Install custom and pre-manufactured cabinets, wardrobes, trim, and architectural millwork
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, level, secure, and install cabinetry and wood fixtures
- Modify and adjust cabinets, fillers, panels, and trim for accurate fitting and finishing
- Install and adjust doors, drawers, hinges, handles, and hardware components
- Perform finish carpentry work around walls, ceilings, flooring, plumbing, and electrical fixtures
- Inspect completed installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with specifications
- Communicate with contractors, clients, and other trades during project completion
- Complete repairs, service calls, touch-ups, and adjustments when required
Requirements:
- Experience of 1-2 years in finish carpentry, cabinet installation, or architectural millwork installation
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Proficiency with carpentry hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and precision workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
