Position Title: Farm Labourer (NOC 85100)
Number of Vacancies: 1
Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week
Wage: $21.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Day shifts (e.g., 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Scheduled weekend shifts are required.
Location of Work: 46106 41N Road, Rathwell, Manitoba, R0G 1S0
Job Duties
- Feed and tend livestock, set and monitor automated feed, water, and environmental ventilation systems.
- Maintain overall cleanliness of pens, barns, and grounds, and assist with routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
- Inspect livestock daily to monitor herd health and assist with animal care treatments under management direction.
- Follow and maintain site biosecurity, health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in handling, sorting, and loading hogs for transport, and respond to site alarm calls as required.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- No formal education required.
- No formal experience required (will provide on-the-job training); prior farm or livestock experience is an asset.
- English is required.
