You will be responsible for the proper maintenance and repair, as well as performing preventative maintenance and operational safety inspections on all heavy equipment. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. The successful candidate may be assigned to work in surface and/or underground mining operations.
Job Duties:
• Responsible for the maintenance of mine equipment and facilities to ensure their maximum contribution to
the safety, quality and productivity of the operation
• Performing regular servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on all applicable mobile equipment;
• Assembles, adjusts sets-up, lubricates, and maintains/repairs all types of mining equipment;
• Use of computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of required repairs;
• Repairing hydraulic, powertrain and electrical systems;
• Use of various tools including hydraulic power units, torque wrenches and hoists;
• Identifying and reporting part requirements and supplies as required;
• Preparing electronic service reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner;
• Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work area.
Skills Required:
• Red Seal Endorsement is considered an asset.

Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably with mining equipment)
Education Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
Wage & Hours: $ 54.41/h
• Number of hours per day: 12 h
• Number of days per week: 14 days on/14 days off (168 hours per rotation)
• Number of hours per week: 84 hours/week (Thursday to Thursday)
• Overtime starts after how many hours: Overtime after 160hours per 28 day period, or after 12hours in a day.
• Shift rotation (as applicable): 14 days of work, followed by 14 days off

☒ Bonus: Employees who obtain Red Seal certification may be eligible for an increased base rate up to
$57.45/hour. Surface assignments are eligible for a quarterly bonus of 10% based on production. Underground
assignments may be eligible for up to an additional $14.68/hour when production targets are achieved.
