Position Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Positions Available: 1 (One)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $38.50 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Language of Work: English
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff performing post-demolition, construction-site, industrial, and specialized cleaning activities.
Inspect demolition and work sites to ensure required cleanliness, safety, and site-cleanup standards are maintained.
Assign cleaning duties and monitor the removal of dust, debris, waste materials, and other residues generated during demolition activities.
Identify and report areas requiring additional cleaning, repairs, maintenance, or other services, and coordinate the necessary work with management or site personnel.
Hire, train, and provide ongoing guidance to cleaning staff regarding cleaning procedures, equipment use, workplace safety, and company standards.
Prepare employee work schedules and coordinate cleaning activities with demolition crews, site supervisors, contractors, and other departments to avoid disruption to site operations.
Estimate labour, cleaning supplies, equipment, and other costs associated with cleaning assignments and assist in maintaining related records and budgets.
Maintain records relating to cleaning assignments, staff hours, supplies, equipment, and completed work.
Ensure cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies are properly used, maintained, and stored.
Perform cleaning duties when required, particularly for specialized or time-sensitive site-cleanup activities.
Skills and Education:
1 year to less than 2 years
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
