Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including tires, brakes, lights, and tanker equipment. Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, ensuring all mechanical, safety, and Hazmat compliance standards are met. Operate and maintain off-loading equipment, including liquid pumps and valves, to ensure safe and efficient cargo handling. Oversee loading and unloading processes, verifying cargo integrity and securing hazardous materials as required. Communicate effectively with dispatch, providing real-time updates on route changes, delays, or incidents. Accurately document cargo details, hours of service (HOS), mileage, and fuel consumption in compliance with regulations.
