While treating injuries and curing illness is what we strive to do, being able to keep pets from getting sick in the first place is the easiest way to keep them healthy. Including general health examinations, vaccinations and deworming, preventative medicine promotes your pet’s health and provides early detection of health conditions or illnesses so treatment can be offered sooner rather than later. We also offer customized geriatric exams for our aging pets, who may have underlying illnesses that can’t be easily detected. Geriatric bloodwork should be done starting at the age of 7 for both cats and dogs, and can be done quickly and accurately using our in-house lab machines.
