Job Description

We are looking for someone who has experience producing exceptional pastries and desserts for a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. The Baker is responsible for leading, motivating and engaging the pastry team by executing the highest standard of culinary excellence. They assist the Executive Pastry Chef with managing all pastry preparation for the restaurants and cafes. The Baker is also accountable for ensuring the highest quality standards for culinary production, cleanliness, labour control and food hygiene. You’ll bring professional, enthusiastic ownership to the menu each day; and contribute to the incredible success of Canada's leading restaurants & cafes!

The Day to Day:

  • Inspire excellence for all team members, while ensuring The Ennio's Group’s dedication to incredible hospitality & spectacular cuisine is met at all levels
  • Actively monitors culinary operations, cleanliness & food hygiene standards
  • Manages day-to-day financial operations of the venue including ordering, food & labour costs and inventory management
  • Develops innovative menu offerings, including features, for all restaurants and cafes
  • Assists in talent identification, recruitment, training & development initiatives as well as staff management & coaching
  • Ensures proper health and safety procedures are followed by all team members
