Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager
Position: Fulltime/Permanent
Wage: $32/hr for 30 hrs/week minimum
Education: Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food & beverage service management.
BarBurrito New Minas is looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the daily operations of the restaurant.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Delivery extraordinary guest experience
· Manage and direct restaurant activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
· Manage all inventory requirements to ensure adequate stock is always maintained including ordering food & beverage and fresh vegetables.
· Manage and direct staff to follow FIFO (first in first out) principles for inventory.
· Manage, monitor, and analyze restaurant costs, specifically revolving around daily food labor costs.
· Ensure that operational and brand compliance are met on all BarBurrito standards and policies.
· Ensure a positive and healthy workplace environment is maintained and motivate staff to ensure peak performance.
· Manage all staff scheduling.
· Train all in-house staff on new product roll outs, as well as train all new hires to ensure adherence to all brand standards.
· Complete bi-weekly payroll for all support staff
· Ensure all guest complaints are handled in a positive and effective manner.
· Successfully pass all in store audits
Requirements:
· Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food & beverage service management is preferred.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
