Ramie’s Greek Restaurant, a well-established and locally loved Mediterranean dining destination in Delta, BC, is seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing authentic Greek cuisine and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills who can manage daily operations effectively while ensuring a high standard of dining experience for our guests.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant.
Determine types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule restaurant staff to ensure smooth service.
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
Control inventory, monitor revenues, and modify procedures/prices to ensure profitability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food, beverages, and other supplies.
Prepare reports on sales, staffing, and costs for review by ownership/management.
Participate in planning and execution of promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate (post-secondary diploma in hospitality/management is an asset).
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service or restaurant management.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
