Job duties description
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the organization's marketing and advertising strategies and campaigns to promote academic programs and services to target demographics, including the Japanese student market.
- Create engaging content for a variety of marketing materials, digital platforms (including social media, websites, and email campaigns), and advertising channels to effectively promote the college's brand, events, and initiatives.
- Identify, establish, and manage mutually beneficial relationships and marketing opportunities with potential partners, educational agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Answer inquiries from partners, agencies, and prospective students regarding program details, application procedures, and admission requirements.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to tailor online content, landing pages, and social media posts to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with academic advisors and executive leadership to build targeted marketing materials for specific student markets and develop a comprehensive marketing calendar to drive sales growth.
- Prepare and present detailed weekly/monthly reports on marketing performance, lead generation, sales metrics, and campaign effectiveness to the Executive Director.
- Plan and execute promotional events, including program orientations, open houses, and trial lessons, to showcase the college's offerings and increase student interest.
- Monitor market trends and analyze campaign data to recommend adjustments to strategies and maximize return on investment (ROI)
Qualifications
- 3 years or above of previous experience in marketing, advertising or student advising
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing
- Proven record of revenue acquisition through marketing and sales strategy
- Experience in social medial marketing including on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or others
- Knowledge of platforms and software such as CRM and MailChimp
- Japanese language ability is an asset
