Edo Japan, Chetwynd is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to help lead our restaurant team. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, team developmentk and delivering outstanding guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What you'll do:
- Lead and motivate team members during shifts
- Ensure food quality, safety, and service standards are met
- Support hiring, training, and performance development
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and cash handling
- Help drive sales, manage costs, and improve restaurant performance
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years of restaurant/retail leadership experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A customer-first attitude and hands-on work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours
