 Position: Early Childhood Educator

 Number of Position:1

 Salary: CAD 23.50/hour, 37.50 hours per week;

 Benefits: Free parking, 10 days of annual paid leave;

Type of position: Full-time, permanent

 Job Responsibilities:

 ×          Hands-on childcare, working with 2 1/2 - 6 and OOSC up to K10 children;

×          Assist in planning, implementing Montessori curriculum;

×          Contribute, propose and implement play-based indoor/outdoor activities;

×          Learn, adopt and manage all CCLR relevant policies to maintain compliance with VCH;

×          Develop, assist and implement variety of childcare activities, care routines - Review and adhere to Employee Policy Handbook/Manual - Maintain safety and supervision of children at all times;

×          Execute all daily routines within compliance to CCLR;

×          Apply learning technics in promoting Early Years Learning Framework;

×          Dedicate yourself to provide secure, respectful support to children;

×          Continually evaluate children’s learning and their well-being;

×          Maintain highest levels of respect for diversity;

Qualifications:

 ×             One year or more experience as ECE in daycare;

×             Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate;

×             Emergency child care first aid and CPR;

×             First Aid Certificate;

×             Provide criminal record check;

×            Punctuality, dependability, team work, efficient interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, reliability, creativity, honesty, ability to multitask;

×            Language: Adequate English skills for oral and written communication
