Tandoori Cook
Tandoori Grill on Hill located at 201- 4368 Main Street, Whistler, BC requires a full time 1 Tandoori Cook to join its team as soon as possible. We will assist in finding suitable accommodation nearby.
Main Duties:
Prepare and cook a variety of foods, including tandoori dishes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, following standardized recipes and customer requests.
Plan and prepare marinades, spice blends, sauces, and other ingredients needed for tandoori cooking.
Supervise kitchen helpers and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor cooking processes to ensure food quality, portion sizes, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, tandoor, and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
Train kitchen staff on proper tandoori cooking techniques and food handling procedures, as required.
May assist management with menu planning, inventory control, and ordering of supplies.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
Salary: $36.60 PER HOUR FOR 30 HOURS PER WEEK
