Job Duties:
You will be responsible for the maintenance of mine equipment. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
• Repairs to diesel equipment, including, but not limited to: Atlas Copco M2 and S2 Jumbos, Epiroc Scoops, Trucks, Scissor Lifts, Mine Cat equipment, Caterpillar Scoops & Trucks, Toyota pickups, Kubota RTV's.
• Responsible for the maintenance of mine equipment and facilities to insure their maximum contribution to the safety, quality and productivity of the operation.
• Assembles, adjusts sets-up, lubricates, and maintains/repairs all types of mining equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints while carefully following manufacturer’s instructions.
• Carries out working orders related to the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance plan of the operation.
• Equipment removal, installation, alignment, troubleshooting and repair.
• Ensures that the work areas, equipment and work practices comply with the regulatory codes, statutes and company requirements.
• Liaises effectively with colleagues and managers regarding various work situations and the activities within the department.
• All other duties as may be assigned.
Skills Required:
• Mechanic License would be an asset (421A, 310S&T)

Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience (preferably with mining equipment)
• Experience troubleshooting engines, hydraulic and electrical issues, etc.
• Experience reading & understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics
Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent experience.
Wage & Hours: $ 41.65/h
• Number of hours per day: 10 h
• Number of days per week: 7 days on/7 days off
• Number of hours per week: 70 bi-weekly
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 44
• Shift rotation (as applicable): 7 days of work, followed by 7 days off
