Job Description:

·       Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors

·       Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

·       Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries

·       Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies

·       Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas

·       Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

·       Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators

·       Pick up debris and empty trash containers

·       Wash windows, walls and ceilings

·       Assist with laundry operations, when required

·       Report and store lost and found items

·       May provide basic information on facilities

Requirements:

·       Education: No educational requirements.

·       Experience: Six (6) months of housekeeping in a hotel, or similar cleaning experience preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Work under pressure, Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs without assistance

Language: English preferred, however this job could be performed without the ability to speak English as the employer has reasonable measures in place to ensure health and safety of all persons at the place of work.

Salary: $18.54 hourly

Benefits: Shared accommodation provided at a cost (utilities included). Transportation costs covered if a worker needs to relocate. Uniforms provided at a discounted rate.

Important Information: The position requires flexibility in the schedule. The employee will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including day, evening, and weekend hours based on business needs. Rotational shifts available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Most common shift lasts 8 hours.
