Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
- Previous supervisory, leadership, or team lead experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally resolve customer concerns and complaints.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and support employees.
- Experience assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to store standards.
- Strong understanding of merchandising, product presentation, inventory management, and retail operations.
- Ability to assist with training and onboarding new employees.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions when management is not immediately available.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, point-of-sale systems, and other retail technology.
- Ability to assist with inventory counts, product location accuracy, replenishment, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Ability to follow and enforce store policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and loss-prevention practices.
- Experience with opening and closing procedures and cash-handling responsibilities is considered an asset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
- Must be dependable, professional, positive, and able to work effectively as part of the management team.
- Previous Canadian Tire experience is considered a strong asset but is not required.
Wage: $21.00 per hour
Overtime: over 44 hours per week

Main Job Duties:
- Hire, train, and support new sales staff, or coordinate required training; monitor staff performance and prepare performance reports.
- Supervising and executing merchandise from delivery to the floor.
- Merchandising new products as needed, fulfillment of product homes.
- Inventory maintenance and control.
- Assisting customers in the selling of merchandise.
- Product signage and location.
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Sell merchandise
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain specified inventory, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
Work Schedule: Varies from Monday to Sunday up to 40 hours
Hours per day: 6.5
Days per week: 5 (Possibly 6)
Hours per week: Min 32 hours per week
